In 2020, QMSC, a software company providing cutting-edge supply chain technology, approached me with a problem. A small but growing startup, they were having a hard time articulating their message and value in a way that customers could understand. They were falling prey to a common marketing mistake called "the curse of knowledge," where companies use insider language and talk over their customers' heads.
In a little over a month, I helped them clarify their messaging and revamp their website so customers actually knew what they offered, how it would transform their business, and most importantly, how to buy it.
